Dear Brenda and Mark,

My brother Ron and I were saddened to learn today of your Dad's passing. He was a kind and gracious neighbor, friend and colleague to our Dad, Glendale. The two of them enjoyed sitting in those plastic lawn chairs in my Dad's garage with a 'refreshment' watching the neighbors pass by in the early summer evenings. I always made a point of visiting him when I was in Bartlesville and he got a big kick when I brought my Boston Terrier, Buster, over to visit, as well. I am fortunate to have two of his carved figures of Indian chiefs. My house backs onto the Agua Caliente reservation sacred tribal land in Palm Springs so it is a fitting tribute to have these carvings displayed in my living room gazing outwards . My best to you both. Len Betz
