Robert Dale Doane
Bartlesville -
Robert Dale Doane, 78, of Bartlesville Oklahoma passed away on December 8, 2020 at his home. He was born on July 8, 1942 in Bartlesville, the son of John and Mildred Doane. Robert attended Dewey public schools and served his country in the army during the Korean War from July 26, 1960 to January 3, 1967.
Robert worked at TRW--Reda Pump as well as Schlumberger in Bartlesville for many years until he retired. Robert loved traveling the country, usually on his Harley, taking many pictures of his adventures along the way. He enjoyed time spent with friends and helping others.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mildred Doane; a brother, John Doane; and a sister, Janice Lutke. Robert is survived by his sister, Berdina Waller of Ardmore, OK; 2 sons, Bob Doane and Sue Mulcahey of Lawrence, KS and Kevin and Donna Shafer of Poteau, OK, and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews as well.
Funeral services will be held at Arnold Moore and Neekamp Funeral Home on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Bartlesville followed by burial at Memorial Park Cemetery. The service will be streamed online at Arnold Moore & Neekamp's Facebook page. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.honoringmemories.com
