Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville, under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Memorial Contributions may be made in his memory to the Washington County S.P.C.A. 16620 S. State Highway #123 Bartlesville, OK. 74003.
Mr. Heil was born January 8, 1950 at White Pines, New York to John Christian and Ida Virginia (Cook) Heil. He came to Bartlesville as a child with his parents, and was raised and received his education here in Bartlesville Public Schools, graduating from College High School in 1968, and worked at Griggs Studio while in school, which began his interest in the photography field that would later be his life's work. He later attended and graduated from the University of Kansas in 1972, where he was a hard core Jawhawk, and a Phi Betta Kappa fraternity member of which he was very proud of and quoted often.
He returned to Bartlesville in the early 1970's following his graduation from KU, and started his Heil Photography Business, which he operated until 2012 when he retired. He was an active member of Bluestem Baptist Church, where he had served as a Deacon for the past three years, and also was a member at Trinity Baptist Church for many years. Bob had served on the Board of the Washington County S.P.C.A. for over 20 years from 1987 to 2007, and was very active with the Boy Scouts of America in the Veterinary Post training of young men, was a member of the Noon Rotary Club of Bartlesville.
He and Amelia Ann Baeza were married on September 30, 1995 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Bartlesville, and they had made their home in Bartlesville, until moving to Dewey in 2010. "Bob" as most people knew him was a loving, caring and gentle man that always had a smile on his face, and loved his grandchildren, and great grandchild very much- and he LOVED to Talk.
Mr. Heil is survived by his wife Amelia Ann (Alford) Heil of the home in Dewey, and by two daughters; Lori Parrish of Cedar Hill, Texas and Michelle Dingman of Dewey, Oklahoma, by four grandchildren and one great grandchild, by one brother John Christian Heil, Jr. and wife Karen, and by one niece and three nephews, and by 2 great nieces and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister Virginia Heil Mansour and her husband Effat Mansour in 1999.

Bob had the intelligence to do or be practically anything but he was smart enough to just be himself, a soft-spoken easy going photographer that seemed to always have a smile and a kind word for everyone he met.

Bob was a great guy and very kind to everyone. He also knew how to work a camera and take a picture. I thought this was pretty cool and I will miss him.
