Ruth was such a delight to work with at the University of Washington. She inevitably had an upbeat, thoughtful insight to share (about my work or personal life) when I most needed one. Even though I haven't seen her much in recent years, I feel such a void, knowing she's no longer in this world. My heart and prayers go out to her family.
