James "Ike" Lewis passed away peacefully on February 21, 2021.

He was born in Independence, Missouri on April 11, 1925 to James and Ana Lewis. James graduated from William Chrisman High School. He then served in the U.S. Navy. He was a loving father, husband, and grandfather.

He enjoyed taking trips with his family, talking to friends, and telling a great story. He had a long career which included legal work, accounting, and real estate. He was preceded in death by his wife Agnes, and his son James. He is survived by his brother Harry Lewis, his grandson James C. Lewis, his daughter-in-law Lisa J. Lewis, and his many nieces and nephews.
