Linda Sutton Obituary

Linda Gaye Sutton, 69, left this earth and went to Heaven Saturday, February 25, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael W. Sutton, her mother Lois Frances Salyer-Sigloch, her father, William Vernon Sigloch, and granddaughter Marina Niccollette Frances Burks.

She left behind a brother, Ronald Sigloch (Linda), Las Vegas, Nev.; 5 daughters, Stacie Burks (Farris) of Independence, Mo., Stephannie Shannon (Shawn) of Oak Grove, Mo., Shellie Lowry (Gary) of Independence, Mo., Wendie Peters (Edward) of Sibley, Mo., and Christie Hall (Anthony "Pete") of Buckner, Mo.; 14 grandchildren, Brooke Thompson (Seger) of Crestview, Fla., Paige Turner, Independence, Mo., Mindy Turner, Independence, Mo., Jessica Whitaker, Woodbridge, Virginia, Kenndrea Foltz, Independence, Mo., Bonnie Foltz, Stoutland, Mo., Carissa Hall, Buckner, Mo., Shelbie Buxton, Independence, Mo., Alec Hoffman, Independence, Mo., Stormie Smallwood, Rainnie Smallwood and Breezzie Justus, all of Sibley, Mo., Marissa Burks and Samuel Burks, Independence, Mo.; and 7 great-grandchildren, Maddie Buxton, Cloey, Zoey and Liam Thompson, Sophia and Josiah Knight and Scarlett Whitaker.

Linda was born June 11, 1947, in Lexington, Mo., to Lois and Vernon Sigloch. She lived several places before settling and becoming a lifelong resident of Independence, Mo. She was a very outgoing person loved to have fun and smiled often. She spent most her life helping others and loving her job as a School Bus Driver before she retired from Fort Osage School District. She had many accomplishments in life, but her most proud achievement was her kids and especially her grandkids. She loved playing with her Lee Middleton babies. She became the Bingo master at her table at the home. She loved to play jokes and have fun. She loved making new friends and loved her close friends dearly. Family always came first and was very important to her. She loved her animals and they adored her. She is loved deeply and will truly be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Services will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 3, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, 816-373-3600. There will be a private burial
