RICHARD GREGG Obituary

RICHARD GREGG On October 18, 2025, Richard Gregg departed this life, but not our hearts. His parents were Wm Ivan Gregg and Alice Gross Gregg. He was born and grew up in Independence, Mo. Richard married Twila Troutwine Gregg. They had a long marriage filled with love, respect and support for each other. He had a brother, Robert Gregg, and a sister Gloria Boysen. Richard worked for Armco Steel for 30 years before retiring. He served three years in the Army, two of those were in Japan. Richard stated many times what a wonderful life he had. He enjoyed going hunting, having breakfast with friends, family gatherings, vacationing and doing various projects in wood and metal. He is survived by his wife, nephews Bill Gregg, Mike Gregg, niece Jane Boysen grandnephews and nieces and was very closed to all his in-laws. Richard was preceded in death by his brother and sister, nephew Stan Boysen and Laura Hoeman. A family and close friends service will be October 22, 2025. In memory of Richard, in lieu of flowers, food or donations, please do a kind act for someone. Richard A. Gregg will be remembered by many as being a nice person.
