WILLIAM GREGSON

WILLIAM ALLEN GREGSON William Allen Gregson, 96, of Independence, Mo., passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024. He is to be buried at Mound Grove Cemetery. William was born July 1, 1928, in Newark, Del., to Gifford L. and Frances(Beaumont) Gregson. He moved to Independence in 1963 with his wife and two children. He worked for the RLDS church until he retired in 1990 as an executive electrical engineer and facility manager. He was an elder in the RLDS church at West College and Stone Church congregations for a number of years. He is survived by his wife, Mary, of 75 years; a son, Stephen Gregson and wife Lynne of Independence; a daughter, Katherine Smith of Independence, his dog, Ginger; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
