Sandra Mulligan Obituary

Sandra "Sandy" Jean
Mulligan
Sandra "Sandy" Jean Mulligan passed away at home on October 13, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Sandy was born in Hartford, CT to parents Barbara Jean and Warren Kilbourne Bartlett. In 1978, Sandy married the love of her life, Joseph Paul Mulligan.
Sandy spent many years giving her time to local politics, as a member of the RTM and BOE. She was outgoing and welcoming to everyone she met, and loved making new friends from all walks of life.
Sandy worked as a bookkeeper and billing specialist for many years. She found great joy in trying new foods and restaurants. She loved her dogs and especially her cats, and took comfort in their company. Sandy always put others first and never complained about illness.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Paul Mulligan; her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson, Kayte, Tommy and Joey Zowine; her son, Tyler Mulligan; her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Ashley Mulligan; her siblings, Cheryl and Ray MacMath and family; Scott and Ann Bartlett and family; and Bruce Bartlett.
In lieu of flowers, please make a random act of kindness in her honor, and smile.

Sandy was my sister-in-law, but more importantly a good friend of mine. She is missed and will be remembered.

A beautiful person in every aspect. If she was in your life a piece of her is in your heart. I know she is gone, yet she never will be out of my mind. I miss her so much.
