Jerry Locklear
LUMBERTON — Mr. Jerry Locklear, 58, of 6168 N. Chicken Road, died June 26, 2015, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Locklear was born in Robeson County on May 31, 1957, a son of the late Jimmy Robert and Nellie Cummings Locklear.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was also preceded in death by a stepfather, Braddie Locklear Jr.; a brother, Lynwood Locklear; and a nephew, Kevin Locklear.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Revels Funeral Home Chapel Lumberton, the Rev. Eugene Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Bell Locklear; a son. Joseph Jerrell "JJ" Locklear; a daughter, Jesica Ola Strickland "Brandis"; four sisters, Ann McKinney "Al", Mary Chason "George", Regina Hunt "Danny" and Brandy Ivey; a brother, Andrew Locklear "Joyce"; and three grandchildren, Driston Locklear, Cameron Locklear and Brandis Strickland Jr.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Revels Funeral Home Lumberton.
