Vincent T. Mueller

1960 - 2025

Faribault - Vincent T. Mueller, age 65, passed away November 14, 2025, surrounded by family. Vince was born May 30, 1960, in Rochester, MN. His family moved to Faribault where he attended the local schools and graduated from Faribault Senior High School in 1978. Vince worked with Parker Auto Body while in high school and attended Mankato Vo Tech where he completed his training in auto body. He later became the sole owner of Parker Auto Body in downtown Faribault, which was later relocated to his home outside of the city. Parker Auto Body became the "Floyd's Barber Shop" of Faribault where locals dropped by to chat about world and local events and issues while Vince labored. They left when the shop closed at the end of the day but returned to rehash events and new ones that happened overnight. To date, we are unsure if any of those issues were ever resolved. The weekends at Vince's country home became the place where friends and family gathered. Vince was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting, fishing, restoring antique autos and shared his shop and talents with anyone that needed his direction. He repurposed trash into functional treasures. He loved dogs and owned many that were his constant companions. His niece and nephews fondly remember the freedom of hanging out at Uncle Vince's, and learning to drive tractors, go 4 wheeling, shoot guns, help with the miniature horses and his menagerie that lived on his little farm. The kids had the freedom to do all the fun things that the parents did not know about! At the end of the day, they were fed a homemade meal of Hamburger Helper, probably made with Venison. (Unbeknownst to some)

Vince is survived by his siblings, Terri (Jim) Fourniea of Bloomington, MN, Kathy (GP) Ostrom of Dunedin, FL, Mike (Janet) of Eden Prairie, MN, Butch (Melissa Healy) of Faribault, Rick of Elk River, MN; niece, Jamie O'Donnell; nephews, Derek Score, Dave Ostrom, Tim Ostrom, Ryan Barsness, Brandon Mueller, Jared Mueller, Brent Mueller, Cody Mueller and Tanner Mueller; aunt and godmother, Clara Burt; and aunt and uncle, Barbara and Chuck McGuire, as well as numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Vonnie Mueller, aunts, uncles, his "fur friends" and many cherished cousins and friends.

Vince requested services be for the family only. A celebration of life will be held in May 2026. Details for that are not yet available but you can contact a family member or call 507-339-7542.
