Brandon Daughtry Obituary

FAYETTEVILLE - Brandon Scott Daughtry, 24, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010. He is survived by his mother, Marcie Guay; stepfather, Nick Guay; stepsister, Brooke Guay; brother, Deandre McKenzie; maternal grandparents, Cordie and Sandra Daughtry; aunts and uncles, Kristi Chuck Baxley, Cordie Daughtry III and Taryn Daughtry; and cousins, Kaleb Daughtry, Larkin Baxley, Brennan Baxley and Cody Rideout. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills. A funeral service will be held at 1p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at Reeves Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Old Bluff Presbyterian Church cemetery in Wade.

I am so sadden of your loss. I worked with Kristi for years and we became good friends, she talked about Brandon everyday and how she loved him so much. She and Chuck loved him as their own. I just wanted to say that Brandon was an amazing guy. We attended school together. He was always so kind to me and offered support during a tough time in my life.
