Ms Pridgen was such a sweet and kind lady with a beautiful smile. I am so glad I got to hug her in December 2008 at my grandmother's funeral! So sorry to hear of her passing - am thinking of you and saying a prayer for you Renee during this very difficult time.

Jean Pridgen has been a much loved presence in my life since I was 6 years old when the Pridgens built a house next door. And they gave me
a special gift of their daughter, Renee, who I still consider a best friend. Jean was like a 2nd Mom and their home was a 2nd home, filled with love, laughter and the warmth of a wonderful family. I have many beautiful memories of Jean that will sustain me in this loss. She was a sweet person, with a sparkling sense of humor, a generous heart and a great love for her family and friends. My heart goes out to you, Renee, as I know what a close relationship you had with your Mom. Take comfort in knowing how happy she is to be with your Dad again and know that in the far future, you will see them both and be a united family once more. I love you,
