Mrs. Wyland, My heartfelt condolences for the loss of your husband. I don't know if you remember me, but I went to Beason Grade School and High School with your children.

To Danny, Gary, Tim and Vicki..... I'm so sorry for the loss of your Dad. My Dad passed away September 9, 2009, so I know the sadness you are going through right now. I have found that sharing my memories of my Dad with my family and friends is the best way to keep his spirit alive. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort in each other during this difficult time.

I have found that the most comforting part of my mourning process is when I share my thoughts and feelings and memories of my Dad with my Mom and my brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. We have a big family, so there are a lot of stories to share. I pray that you all will keep the happy memories of your Dad alive in your heart and share them with each other. May your tears turn to laughter. That is what has gotten me through these last 2 1/2 years. It's so sad how many of my former classmates from Beason and Lincoln have had one or both parents pass away, just since my Dad passed away..... I have shared my personal mourning experience with several classmates. I just hope my words have in some way helped others cope with the loss of their parents. May God Bless and comfort you all.
