ALLEN JUNCTION, W.Va. - Michael E. Bannon Sr., 55, of Allen Junction, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 at Charleston Area Medical Center following a short illness. Born Sept. 3, 1958, in Killeen, Texas, he was the son of the late Hannelore Rose Weber and Donald Roy Bannon. Michael was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, being outdoors, target shooting and being with his family and friends. Survivors include two sons, Michael Bannon II of Allen Junction and Thomas Burke of Wilmington, N.C.; four brothers, Ronald Bannon, Donald Bannon, Bobby Bannon and Jerry Bannon all of Fayetteville, N.C.; two sisters, Irene Hefferman of Lumber Bridge, N.C. and Rosemarie Krug of Alsfeld, Germany. He was my friend and we had lost contact. I just had found him on facebook after 30 years. I am praying for the family and the children I never had the pleasure of meeting. I love each and everyone of you. My heart hurts and I am sure yours does too. Mike was a special man and he will be missed. He left us way to early. Love Beverly
