Robert Singletary Obituary

BLADENBORO - Robert Stanley "Bob" Singletary Sr., 83, of Bladenboro, died Thursday, May 19, 2011. Mr. Singletary was a National Guard veteran. He is survived by his wife, Willa W. Singletary of the home; two sons, Robby Singletary of New Jersey, and Danny Singletary and wife Melissa of Bladenboro; two daughters, Denise Hester and husband Wilbur of Bladenboro, and Norma Bullock of Lumberton; seven grandchildren, Mackenzie Singletary, Mollie Smith, Brad Hester, Jamie Bullock, Paul Bullock, Rob Singletary and Christina Singletary; and two great-grandchildren, Emma Smith and Benjamin Hester. The family will receive friends at Butters Baptist Church from 2 to 2:45 p.m. today, Saturday, May 21, 2011, in the fellowship hall. Services will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Rick Rigsby officiating. Burial will follow in Singletary Cemetery in Butters. Services are entrusted to Bladen-Gaskins Funeral & Cremations Services of Elizabethtown.
