LAURINBURG - Mrs. Thora Dawn Sanders-Pate, 21, of 910-C Charlotte St., died Monday, April 6, 2009, in Scotland Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her son, Savion Pate. Mrs. Pate is survived by her husband, Eurekus R. Pate; son, Samier Pate; mother, Cynthia A. Austin; father, Henry Sanders; sister, Anessah Sanders; three brothers, Jaleel Sanders, Jaquan Austin and Laquan Sanders, all of Laurinburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 4p.m. Monday, April 13, 2009, in Purcell Funeral Home in Laurinburg with the Rev. B.J. Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 6p.m. today, April 12, 2009, at the funeral home. Services entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home of Laurinburg.
