Donald Edward Rupp, age 94, of Archbold, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2022, in the comfort of his home. Don was born in Pettisville, Ohio on October 11, 1927, to the late Elden and Lydia (Stuckey) Rupp.
Don was a man of God and was a devout member of the North Dover Church in Wauseon, where he was active with the video ministry. Don married the love of his life, Beth Clingaman, in 1993.
Don is survived by his wife, Beth; daughter, Patricia (Aaron) Fosnight of Wichita, KS; daughter, Joyce (Gene) Wonders of Wauseon; and daughter, Donna (Richard) Cline of Hudson, IN. He is also survived by stepsons, Jason Clingaman of Wauseon, and Zachary (Breanna) Clingaman of Fayette; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Arlene (Dale) Short and Velma Horst; and sister-in-law, Annabelle Rupp. He will be greatly missed by many family and friends, especially Cayden Ruffer. Don was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Richard L. Rupp; daughter, Linda Johnson; and grandsons, Gregory and Nicholas Reckner. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, LeRoy Rupp, Leon (Clara) Rupp, Doris Rupp, and Ruth Ann Rupp.
A visitation for Donald will take place on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at the Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold from 4pm-8pm. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 11am at the Zion Church on Co. Rd 11, with Pastor Don Krieger officiating. Burial will take place at-a later-date at the Pettisville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Community Health Professionals Hospice or Pathway to Victory. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com. The Grisier Funeral Home of Archbold is honored to serve the Rupp family.
