Karin STAHL Obituary

STAHL, Karin Geiger, of Tampa, Florida, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday January 20, 2014. She is the daughter of Wilhelm and Anneliese Becht and was born Nov-ember 26, 1942 in Pforzheim, Germany. Karin graduated from Plymouth High school and later in life earned a degree in Biology (summa cum laude) from USF. She married D. Russell Stahl in 1964. Karin was a Tampa real estate entrepreneur until her later years when she became a philanthropist who supported many worthy causes. She was also an active member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Karin is survived by D. Russell Stahl Sr.; her two children Lt. Col. Christine Stahl M.D. and Russell Stahl Jr., both of Tampa; her son-in-law Cesario Borlongan PhD and grandchildren Mia and Max Borlongan. She is also survived by her mother Anneliese Becht of Odessa and her sister Eve Kaufman of Sydney Australia. A memorial service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 14920 Hutchison Rd. Tampa on February 1, at 11:00 am

Stuart and I are so sorry for your loss. I never knew Karin really except to see how attentive she always was to her mother when we saw them in church. She was obviously an exceptional, Christian woman and we hope your family will find comfort knowing she is in the arms of Jesus and at peace. God bless you all as you grieve her loss.
