Arthur Preisler Obituary
Arthur John Preisler, a resident of Fond du Lac, passed away June 15, 2015, at St. Agnes Hospital.
He was born August 7, 1959 in Port Washington, a son of Guy R. and Sylvia A. Yass Preisler.
Art was a graduate of Cedarburg High School. He was an avid Packer Fan and collector of football cards acquiring a large collection. Art had a keen interest and love for Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He was a member of St. Johns the Baptist Catholic Church, Johnsburg.
Survivors include his parents, Guy and Sylvia, two sisters, Julie (Mark) Jolitz of Sussex, and Suzanne (Dane) Kasten of Slinger, five nieces and nephews, Kevin, Kyle, and Corey Jolitz and Alicia and Amber Kasten. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert in 1995, paternal grandparents, Art and Julia Preisler, and maternal grandparents, Harry and Francis Yass, and aunt, Amy (Robert) Hartenburger, and a cousin, Carly Anderson.
Visitation: Visitation will be held on Thursday June 18, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Zacherl Funeral Home, Fond du Lac.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church on Friday June 19, 2015 at 10:30 AM. Rev. Joseph Coerber will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. People are encouraged to wear their favorite Packer clothing in memory of Arthur.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be directed to American Heart Association or St. Johns the Baptist Catholic Church, Johnsburg.
