Brandon Paulson Obituary

Brandon J. Paulson

of New Holstein - Brandon James Paulson, 19, of New Holstein, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday January 14, 2018. Brandon was born September 21, 1998 at Valley View Hospital in Plymouth. He is the beloved son of Philip R. and Tammy L. (Feldner) Paulson. In 2014 upon confirmation, Brandon became a member of St. John United Church of Christ in New Holstein. An active Boy Scout, and member of the Order of the Arrow , Brandon earned his Eagle Scout in 2017 upon completion of renovating the flower beds at Willowdale Nursing Home in New Holstein. He attended New Holstein schools and graduated from New Holstein High School in 2017, where he played football, wrestled, and ran cross country. Brandon held many jobs throughout his short life; milking and farming at local dairy farms, construction, painting, and currently at Stoelting Company in Kiel.

Brandon was a loyal friend to many; he would stick by your side no matter what. Due to his huge heart he was always willing to do whatever he could to help a friend, family member, or at times complete strangers in need. His sense of humor could put a smile on anyone's face. He was a self-taught mechanic who was always turning a wrench on the latest vehicle he brought home. Being a dog lover, Brandon was known to bring home stray dogs that he picked up along the highway. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing video games, listening to music, watching movies, and hanging out with friends.

Brandon is survived by his parents; Philip and Tammy Paulson; brother, Bradley Paulson; and sister, Caitlynn Paulson all of New Holstein. Great Grandfather, Donald Spletter of Chilton. Grandparents, David and Paula (Spletter) Feldner of Elkhart Lake and Paul and Jean (Louis) Paulson of Tennessee. He is further survived by his aunts and uncles; Janel (Chad) Klika of Hilbert; Terri (Eric) Reinecke of Sheboygan; and Janet (Max Holder) Paulson of Tennessee. Also surviving are numerous great aunts; uncles; cousins; other relatives and friends.

Brandon was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents , Paul and Mary(Morris) Paulson, Leonard and Clara (Simpson) Louis; Madeline (Best) Spletter, Carol (Widi) Spletter, and Gregor and Agnes (Abler) Feldner.

Funeral Services for Brandon will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue, New Holstein, WI 53061. Rev. James E. Werner will officiate. Cremation will follow after the service.
