Clarence Schwartz Obituary
Fond du Lac - Clarence E. Schwartz, Jr., 78, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at his residence. He was born May 21, 1940 in Fond du Lac, the son of Clarence and Geraldine Steinmetz Schwartz. Clarence graduated from Goodrich High School Class of 1958. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1959 - 1963. On August 29, 1970 he married Lucy Ann Hussli at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. Clarence started working for Wisconsin Bell in 1963 and retired from AT&T in 1995. He was a member of Telephone Pioneers and very active in Amateur "Ham" Radio. Clarence loved electronics, gadgets, and enjoyed working on computers.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy; three children, Susan Schwartz of Winneconne, Mary Schwartz of Oshkosh, and John Schwartz of Mt. Pleasant; one grandson, Brandon (Kaci) Redmann; two great grandchildren, Gavin and Olivia; and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The visitation will be held Friday, July 27, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Saturday at church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way in Fond du Lac. Cremation has taken place and entombment will follow in Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.

Dear Lucy & Family,
I feel the loss of an old friend. We go back to the early days of Jr. High where we made rockets and fireworks as part of our "science" projects.
Jan and I have been trying to think of something comforting to say, but today - Being Sunday - we let our prayers talk for us - for you and Clarence.
