Linda Weber Obituary

Linda L. Weber

of Chilton - Linda L. Weber, 68, of Chilton, passed from our hands into God's on Friday, April 6, 2018, with her family at her side, after a courageous battle with kidney cancer.

She was born November 28, 1949, to the late Raymond & Mary Ann (Burg) Dedering. Linda graduated from Kiel High School in 1967. She worked for many years with the New Holstein Police Department retiring after 30+ years of service. Following her retiring from the police department, she became the New Holstein Municipal Judge.

Linda loved life and lived it to the fullest until the end. She and Roger enjoyed traveling and visited many beautiful places. She enjoyed golfing and being outdoors. Her family was very important to her and they hosted many parties; some that lasted well into the "wee" hours. Hosting parties was Linda's way of keeping the families tight knit.

She leaves behind to treasure the many wonderful memories; her loving husband of nearly 10 years, Roger "Kodge" Weber, cherished daughter, Tammi Filkoski of Fredericksburg, VA; granddaughters, Tristan (G) Filkoski, Bailey, and Riley Filkoski; her siblings, Judy (Jim) Gerharz of Kiel, Karen Borcherding of Cincinnati, OH, Debby (Luis) Brito of Dalzell, SC, and Danny Dedering of Elkhart Lake; her step-daughter, Kelly (Dave) Johnson of Eden; step-son, Mark (Lisa) Weber of Chilton; step grandchildren, Avery and Kendall Johnson and Brynn Weber; her sister-in-law, Donna (Gerald) Steenport; former father-in-law, Ralph Heus; former sisters-in-law, Rose Schwetz, Janet Johnson, and Sharon (Ron) Thelen; and the Ralph Heus family. She is further survived by many nieces; nephews; cousins; and many wonderful friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Raymond & Mary Ann Dedering; her first husband, Darryl Will; her brother, David Dedering; brother-in-law, Richard Borcherding Jr.; a niece; a great-nephew; her former mother-in-law, Shirley Will Heus; her father-in-law & mother-in-law, Norman & Adorika Weber; and close cousin of Roger, Geno Weber.

A Celebration of Linda's life will be held at 4:30 PM on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue, New Holstein, WI 53061.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday, April11th from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in her name for the New Holstein First Responders.

Linda's family would like to express their heart-felt appreciation to the medical staff at the Mayo Clinic, her oncology team at Chilton Medical Center, and the caregivers of Affinity Visiting Nurses Neenah Hospice.
