Marvin Jacob Obituary
Marvin R. Jacob, 87, of the town of Auburn, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2015, at his home, surrounded by his family.
He was born on November 6, 1927, the son of the late, Arthur and Marie (Kirchner) Jacob, and on October 7, 1967 he was united in marriage to Carol Kurtz in Waukegan, Illinois.
Marvin enjoyed working on cars and going camping. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed driving the semi and looking at the scenery. Marvin will be deeply missed by his wife, his family and all who knew him.
Those Marvin leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 47 years, Carol; four children, John Jacob of the town of Auburn, David (Michele) Jacob of Fond du Lac, Linda Jacob of the town of Auburn and Bill (Kellie) Jacob of Rosendale; seven grandchildren, Paige and Tyler Jacob-Fry, Eric and Bo Jacob, Brady Jacob, and two granddaughters on the way; his two faithful dogs, Maggie and Susie, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Taylor and Arleen DeLaurier.
Funeral services for Marvin will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2015, at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum with Rev. Mark Eckert officiating.
Marvin's family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services.
