Dick & I were good friends, we met at church, sang in the choir and shared many enjoyable times together. You might say that we were not angels. When we filled the communion glasses we used to sample a bit of the wine too make sure that it was OK.

Dear Patti and family, my sympathy goes out to you at this time. I have known Dick for many years from my time at Country Kitchen and he was such a dear man, so kind and caring with a beautiful smile. Will miss him.

My parents, Pat & Mac, were customers at the tavern and considered Dick & Helen friends. I have fond memories of stopping on Saturday afternoons with my dad, for a Sundrop and Bireley's orange. I remember Dick was almost always smiling. Dad and I send our condolences.
