Timothy Nance Obituary
Timothy J. Nance, 37, of Fond du Lac, entered into Heaven on Friday, November 1, 2013. Tim was born on February 20, 1976 to Joseph and Dorothy Nance in Centralia, IL. Everyone knows "Shorty Tim" and he is loved by many. Tim loved to cook, especially BBQ and fish. He cooked his first cheeseburger when he was 3 years old. Music has been Tim's passion since playing the drums in church as a kid, all the way till now, bumping through town in the Cadillac. Uncle Tim loves the kids. If you knew Tim you knew he loves darts and playing pool (thanks Ben for keeping that memory alive). Tim will be loved and missed by many. There are no words to describe the pain the loss of this man has on so many people. Tim made you feel like his friend even if he just met you.
Tim is survived by his daughter, TaMeka Nance and her mother; his granddaughter on the way, Vivian Marie Irene Nance; his mother, Dorothy Nance; one brother, Sonny "Bono" Weathersby; brothers-in-law, Dominic (Tina) Ewell, Ronnie (Tywanda) Stidham, Curtis (Val) Darling; special nieces and nepehew, Dominique and Harmony Ewell, Justice Chiodo, Maya and Jenna Stidham, Emily Darling, Iilesha, Summer and Brian Weathersby; great nieces, Amiah Wallace and Jamirah Horton; Cuz, J.J. "Bass" Gregg; special friends, Aaron Owens, Ben (Tasha and kids) BoBo, Brandon (Amber and the boys) Johnson, and Jamais Barnes; and many, many, more friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Nance, a brother, and Nana.
A private memorial service will be held in Fond du Lac. Tim will be going home to Centralia, IL to be laid to rest next to his father, Joe. Arrangements will be available through Irvin Funeral Home, Centralia, IL.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Bread of Life Church in Fond du Lac.

I did not know you well tho you are my uncle by marriage I met you once tho you used to talk to my mom at work about me and all the stuff I got myself into as a young child an the timse that I had hanged with your daughter Tameka my mom always said that you were nice man to work with when she walks past the area that you worked in it makes her sad because she wishes you were still there to joke with and talk to even know that you my mom only work friends she still enjoyed the times you guys talking joked around at work you will always be loved never forgotten & always in out hearts rest in peace unlce Tim my prayers are with our family

The thought of Tim brings back at time I was young and I was walking around Laura leake park and was upset about something. Tim stopped seeing I was upset and said Cuz get in( his maroon chevy he had at the time if I remember correctly and take a ride and let's talk. Amazing person to go out of their way just because!!!

My prayers and thoughts go out to the Nance family. While Tim and I were not close, I am proud to say that I had the opportunity to meet him on several occasions,and he was always very kind, and had a way of making you feel like you were good friends, even if you barely knew one another. There are no words that I can say that can express how deeply sorry I am for your loss, except that we can at least now rest knowing that he is in a better place, and that he is watching down on his family, smiling and keeping his loved ones safe.
