Keith Wilbur Obituary

Keith L. Wilbur, 84, of Aurora, NY died peacefully at the home of his daughter. Keith was born in Genoa, NY the son of the late George and Alice (Hendrickson) Wilbur Sr. Keith served in the United States Army from 1959 until his honorable discharge in 1961. He received his bachelor's degree in animal husbandry from Cornell University. Keith was employed with HFP Sprinklers in Massachusetts, where he worked as a sprinkler fitter, for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his daughters, teaching them to ski. He also enjoyed golfing. Keith would take his family on vacations and would also invite his extended family to join them. Family was an important part of his life. Mr. Wilbur is survived by his loving daughters Fanny Jillson of Aurora, Kerry (Matthew) Spitzer of MA, and Kacie (Allen) Bump of CT. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Jonah, August, Ada, Na'sef, Brett, Jaylend, Tony, Justin, Aidan, and his brothers Peter and John Wilbur. Services will be private for Mr. Wilbur. The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, Oswego. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Hospice of Central New York & of the Finger Lakes.
