Alan McDonald Obituary

Alan J. McDonald, 49, of 254 Royalston Road, Baldwinville, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, Jan. 5, after being stricken ill while snowshoeing in the woods behind his home.

Alan loved the outdoors, most especially hunting and fishing. He also was a Harley Davidson enthusiast. Most important to him, however, were his children, who were a source of constant pride to Alan.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Lori A. (Thomas) McDonald; his father, Roger McDonald and his wife, Sue, of Saylersville, Ky.; three sons, Michael T. McDonald, Thomas R. McDonald and Jacob A. McDonald, all of Baldwinville; one daughter, Alannah M. McDonald of Baldwinville; two brothers, Steven R. McDonald of Rindge, N.H., and David P. McDonald and his wife, Brenda, of Athol; one sister, Pearl M. Fuller and her husband, Frank, of Phillipston; and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
