I have been through several of these so called good byes before. None of which took on the magnitude of lessons provided by this one. In all of church and school combined there was never a more valuable field lesson to learn and pass than that of compassion for a man I never took the time to know. In Pepe Al's last weeks I spent more time with him than my entire life with him combined. I looked into his eyes so many times when he refused to break eye contact and In the eyes of such an introverted man, I found the child that once was, and looked into the cleanest part of what the soul is... And what stared back was a true reflection of God. This,,, I shall not forget with the passing of seasons. Love ya pep.... Matthew Charles.

Within two week as we well knew, we held tight your hand and heard a new heart beat too! Some tender moments we did have: more than most in a lifetime shared. Dad, now you know how much we cared. We will miss you as we gaze above: you look down and shower us with love. Give Mom a kiss & Kevin too and let them know we love them too! May God hold you close to His heart, till we are again together never to part.
Love,
