Allan Drouin Obituary
Allan Drouin, 83, of Lancaster, passed away on July 16 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home after an illness.
He was born on April 18, 1938, son of Edna (Johnson) Drouin and Blynn Drouin. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 50 years, Melina "May" (Dallaire) Dollard in 2014. Allan leaves his sister Deanna Danahy, and several loving nieces and nephews. Allan was a veteran, having enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1956 where he became a Jet Aircraft Mechanic, and subsequently served in the National Guard. Allan later became a licensed Master Electrician, working for himself and also as an employee of Foster Grant, Data General, and Nashoba Regional School District. Allan will always be remembered by his friends as an avid outdoorsman, hiker, sailor, and expert marksman.
A memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 18th at 11 am, in New Life Church, 834 Main St (Rt. 13) in Leominster, a church that Allan and his late wife May were active members of since the 1960s. The Curley Marchand Funeral Home is assisting the family with all arrangements. Burial will be at a later date at the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery in Winchendon.

My condolences, I worked for Allen for 8 years. He was a very nice man, always up beat and thinking of others. He will be greatly missed.

My condolences, Allen was a extremely nice man and I enjoyed working for him for 8 years. He was always upbeat and thinking of others. He will be greatly missed.

I met allan & his wife through my parents who they were great friends. Even my mom worked with him at foster grants. I enjoyed talking to him at church.
