Annette Smith Obituary

Salem, NH

Annette C. Smith, 87, of Salem, NH passed away on October 1, 2023, in Methuen, MA. She was born on December 20, 1935, in Lunenburg, MA, to the late Rosaire and Lucienne Chapdelaine.

Annette was a beloved member of her community. She was outgoing and actively involved in her church for her entire life. Annette will be remembered for her warm and friendly nature. Annette had numerous friends who loved her very much.

Annette is survived by her loving children, Christopher, Timothy, Michelle, Suzanne, and Monique; her sons-in-law, Tom and Brian; her cherished grandchildren, Tom his wife, Megan, Daniel and his wife Emily, Peter and his wife Kaitlin, Matthew, John, Jackson, Luke, and Alex; her cherished great grandsons Owen and William; her loving sisters Suzanne, Rachelle, and Paulette and her husband Richard, and her sister-in-law Terry. She was predeceased by her Husband William and her brothers Raymond, Paul and Leon.

Annette was a devout Catholic and worshipped at St. Joseph Parish in Salem, NH.

Annette's warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. "May her Soul rest in eternal peace."

Calling hours are Friday, October 6, 2023 from 3 – 7 PM at Goundrey Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079. A Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Church, 40 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079. Burial will follow the Mass in Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem, NH.
