Anthony Tucker Obituary
Loving husband, father, and brother; 61
WESTMINSTER -- Anthony "Tony" Robert Tucker, 61, passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side on Friday, May 17, 2013, at the University of Massachusetts, Medical Center, in Worcester.
Tony leaves his wife, Kim A. Haley; three daughters, Bridget H. Tucker, Mackenzie H. Tucker, and Rachael H. Tucker, all of Westminster; one brother, Walter Tucker and one sister, Kim Kitt, both of West Springfield; his best friend, Anne Moriarty of Westminster; and many extended members of his family.
Tony is predeceased by a sister, Carol Ann Tucker.
Tony was born in West Springfield, on April 9, 1952, a son of the late Walter R. and Antoinette (Maloni) Tucker. Tony graduated from West Springfield High School in 1970, and also was a graduate of Mount Wachusett Community College and Boston University.
He worked as an Account Executive for Digital, Compaq, and Hewlett Packard. Tony received his pilot's license at the age of 14.
Tony was a wonderful Father and Husband; He was loved by all who knew him. He will be missed by all.
TUCKER -- The Funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Edward the Confessor Church, 10 Church Street, Westminster, MA 01473. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Knower and Ellis Roads, Westminster, MA There are no calling hours. Memorial Contributions can be made in Tony's name to the ALS TDI, 300 Technology Square, Suite 400, Cambridge, MA 02139. The Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes, 123 Main St., Westminster is directing the funeral arrangments. I wish Tony's entire family comfort during this difficult time. I never had the pleasure of meeting Tony but his story inspired me on so many levels. The golf tournement has been a highlight of my summer for many years. Big hugs Tucky and Linda I am sure that although you are hurting that you are also filled with pride at what a great man he was. My heart goes out to the Tucker family.
Tony was my cousin, friend, and partner in crime. In my early teenage years when I was most impressionable, He taught me, While at the El Rancho, that work was fun, that a 30 Dz. case of eggs should yield only about 9 to 10 omelets. That the chickens wanted us to have fun with the rest. He taught me that employees, family or not, were for picking on; That work was supposed to be fun. Thank you Tony for helping me to a good start in life. I will never forget what you have given me.

Tony was a courageous faithful man who, despite his 17 year illness, was a very lucky man who was loved deeply by God and by a beautiful spouse and by three daughters. A man could not be more loved than Tony was. He is finally at peace with God to whom he was always faithful.
Tony will be missed by all.
