David Rameau Obituary
David "Dave" Rameau, 78, of Westminster passed away peacefully in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home in Gardner on Friday April 1, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
David was born in Fitchburg on February 15, 1944, a son of the late Arthur and Cecile (Savalier) Rameau. David was raised in Westminster and lived there most of his life. He married his beloved wife of 59 years, Diane (Lemay) Rameau on November 3, 1962.
Besides his wife Diane, David will be greatly missed by his daughter, Lori Pucko and her husband Michael of Gardner; two grandchildren, Matthew Pucko of Gardner and Monica Pucko of East Brookfield; two brothers, Norman Rameau of Gardner and Richard Rameau of Pahrump, NV; sister-in-law, Claudette Ashby and her husband Norman; sister-in-law Peggy Haimila and several nieces and nephews.
David worked for many years as a Lab Technician for Hollingsworth and Vose in Groton. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking trips to Foxwoods. He loved being with family and loved animals. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a friend to all.
Funeral services will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks memorial contributions to be made to The American Alzheimer's/Dementia Associate, MA/NH Chapter, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
The Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes, 123 Main Street, Westminster has been entrusted with the care of David's arrangements.
