Mrs Leger was one of the best teachers I ever had in High School. I remember her being strict, but fair. I always looked forward to her class. Prayers and condolences to her family.

Ms. Legere:
All teachers could learn from you. You were the nicest most understanding teacher I have had the pleasure to know. Your smile was the light at the end of the hall. You are remembered in hearts of many students.....

So sorry to hear of your loss. I was a member of the Fine Arts Club at Leominster High and got to take one of those trips to NYC, enjoying the Metropolitan Museum and the Museum of Natural History. She inspired in me a lifelong respect and love of the fine and performing arts. I remember so well her expression "man's inhumanity to man" to describe despicable acts like terrorism and war -- I've used the term myself ever since. She was a remarkable woman with the gift of being able to impart humanity and beauty to others. Who could ask for a better legacy than that?
I hope that the knowledge that she helped others to live richer lives can be of comfort to you during this difficult time.

Mrs Legere was my favorite teacher. She encouraged me to follow my passion for performing arts and I continue to perform almost 40 years later. I encourage the youth who show the same spark she saw in me. She has remained in my heart all these years. Mrs Legere defined what a great teacher should be.

To all of Eleanore's family; my deepest sympathies for you loss. I was lucky to have taught with Eleanore for many years at Leominster High, and she was such a positive influence to her students as well as her colleagues. She was a wonderful woman who did great things. May you take comfort from your family and friends, and from knowing that she touched so many live in a positive way.
