Growing up across the street from the McGowans was a great experience. To this day, I can't hear an Elvis song without thinking of that house and of one of the huge collection of Elvis LPs playing in their big wooden record console. Fred always had a friendly hello for you when you walked into the house which made you feel right at home while you were over there. My thoughts are with Michael, Michelle, and the rest Fred's family in dealing with their loss.
