Gicelle C. Duval

Gicelle C. Duval of Fitchburg, Sacred Heart member; 89 FITCHBURG Gicelle C. (Gaudreau) Duval, 89, of Fitchburg, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at the Life Care Center of Leominster. Her husband of 57 years, William J. Duval Sr., died in 1999. Mrs. Duval is survived by four sons, John M. Duval of Westminster, Ronald J. Duval of Fitchburg, Raymond J. Duval of Leominster, William J. Duval Jr. of Ashburnham; two daughters, Diane V. Keenan and Florence J. Helie, both of Fitchburg. She also leaves 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Girouard Gaudreau of Warren. Mrs. Duval was born in the Gilbertville section of Hardwick, April 16, 1919, the daughter of Emile and Victoria (Robichaud) Gaudreau, and resided much of he life in Fitchburg. She worked in the cafeteria at the Memorial Middle School, and also at the Asher Pant Company, both in Fitchburg. Mrs. Duval was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in West Fitchburg. She was a member of the Montachusett YMCA where she taught infants to swim. She enjoyed square dancing. DUVAL A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m., Monday, August 4, 2008 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 49 Vernon Street, Fitchburg. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fitchburg.
