Giulio Stecich Obituary
SHIRLEY -- Giulio G. Stecich, 56, of Shirley, died Thursday, November 4, at his residence, after an illness.
Mr. Stecich was born in Palermo, Sicily on December 15, 1953, a son of the late Giulio and Anna (Carmanita) Stecich, and has resided in Shirley for the past 37 years.
Mr. Stecich is survived by wife of 37 years: Ana M. (Moniz) Stecich of Shirley; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Gilda M. and Richard Sotto of Worcester, Kelley A. Spiezio and her companion, Niels of Hopedale, Mandy N. and James Choi of Shirley; three brothers, Salvatore Alfano of Medford, Nereo Stecich and John Stecich, both of East Falmouth; two sisters, Mary Eracleo of Westford, Norma Stecich of Mashpee; nine grandchildren, Makayla Sotto, Hannah Sotto, Serena Sotto, Emmanuel Sotto, Andrew Spiezio, Alyssa Spiezio, Matthew Choi, Mario Choi, Olivia Choi.
Mr. Stecich was the brother of the late Mario Stecich.
Mr. Stecich was a self employed entrepreneur most recently owning the Café Palermo in Fitchburg.
Mr. Stecich enjoyed fishing and playing foosball. He especially enjoyed his Harley Davidson and participating in many rides for the cure for cancer.
He was a faithful husband and family man who loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Stecich was a member of His Ministry Church of Pentecost in Worcester.
He was Baptized in Jesus' Name one year ago on November 4.
Mr. Stecich proudly served his country in the National Guard.
STECICH -- A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am, Monday, November 8 at the Village Cemetery, Harvard Road, Shirley. Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m., Sunday, November 7 at the T. J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road (Rt. 2A), Ayer. Please see www.andersonfuneral.com for additional information. I am greatly saddened this evening to have learned of the loss of Giulio Stecich. I have known Giulio for most of my life, and he was very special. Giulio was greatly devoted to his wife and daughters, and he was always very kind and supportive to everyone he ever met. He knew God's love from the very beginning and shared in it with everyone whom he encountered.
Our hearts and prayers are especially with Ana, Gilda, Kelley, and Mandy during this difficult time.

Thank you to everyone that has showed my family so much generosity, love and support. I am grateful that my dad left such a strong impression on so many people; that throughout his life he was able to touch many hearts and help many family members, friends and even strangers. He always gave from his heart, and when he didn't have money he would find some other way to show support.
He taught me to root for the underdog, make friends with someone that seemed to have none, and most of all, he taught me the value of being an honest person; one that can earn someones trust and keep it by always honoring my word.
