Irene Boucher Obituary

GAINESVILLE, Ga. -- Irene M. (Rousseau) Boucher, 84, of 3509 Maritime Glen, Gainesville, died at home, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, July 25, after an extended illness.

She was born on March 13, 1922, in Fitchburg, Mass., the daughter of Edmund J. and Marie Louise (Peloquin) Rousseau. She moved to Gainesville from Leominster, Mass. in 2002. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church.

Mrs. Boucher was active in Girl Scouts for many years. She enjoyed gardening, painting, traveling and most of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She volunteered her time to numerous civic organizations.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Susan and Michael P. Williamson of Gainesville, Ga. and Linda Boucher of Wellesley, Mass.; her son and daughter-in-law, August M. and Joanne Boucher of Leominster; and her grandchildren, Michael J. and Steffany Williamson, Alexandra and Jay Fraser, Jacqueline, Andrea and Marcus Boucher; and great-grandchildren, Sarah, Chelsea and Emily Williamson and Gabriella Boucher.

BOUCHER -- On July 25, Irene M. (Rousseau) Boucher, 84, of Gainesville, Ga. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. Mason & Ward Funeral Home of Gainesville, Ga., is in charge of arrangements.
