Joan M. Boyle lifelong resident

Joan M. (Davin) Boyle lifelong resident of the Ayer & Shirley areas -- SHIRLEY -- Joan M. (Davin) Boyle, 73, of Shirley, died Sunday, June 30, 2013, at her home after a lengthy illness surronded by her family. Mrs. Boyle was born in Ayer, November 17, 1939, a daughter of James and Beatrice (O'Malley) Davin and was a lifelong resident of the Ayer and Shirley areas. She was a 1957 graduate of Ayer High School. Mrs. Boyle worked over 30 years in the Ayer School System retiring as the Ayer High School Cafeteria Manager, retiring in 2001. She enjoyed camping, baking and traveling with her family, especially her grandchildren. She leaves her husband of 53 years, Peter C. Boyle; her son, Peter C. Boyle Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a daughter, Kimberly A. McNulty of Shirley, a sister, Noreen Day of Leesburg, FL; five grandchildren, April Boyle-Ramoz, Shannon McNulty, Sarah McNulty, Torrie Boyle and Tanna Boyle. BOYLE -- A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday, July 6 at St. Anthony's Church, 14 Phoenix Street, Shirley. Calling hours are from 5-8 Friday, July 5 at the T.J.
