John Hammond Obituary
John F. Hammond, 63, a resident of Medway, MA, and a former longtime resident of Fitchburg, died Monday, March 18, in his home, after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family.
The Smith-Mallahy-Masciarelli and Fitchburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home, 243 Water St., is directing Funeral arrangements, which are incomplete at this time.

My sincere condolences to Bridget and the Hammond family. I was a colleague of John's at Fidelity. I'll remember him for his great laugh, wonderful perspective on life and willingness to mentor and share his insights with the "newbies". He will be missed. Rest in peace John.

I was colleague of John's at Fidelity Investments. He had a great a sense of humor and was a fantastic writer. I remember many days that we would just giggle over random events/stories, etc. My thoughts are with your entire family. Sue Lacey
