Kristen L. Gustafson

1983 - 2022

Kristen L. "Christmas" Gustafson of Phillipston; formerly of Leominster died unexpectedly at Athol Hospital on Saturday May 7, 2022.

Kristen was born on April 18, 1983 in Leominster, the daughter of Joanne Sasseville-Gustafson and Mark Gustafson.

Kristen resided in Leominster, for all of her life until moving to Phillipston, in 2011, where she finished out her remaining days. She graduated from Leominster High-school and later studied Business Management at Cambridge College Global/NEIB.

Survivors include her three siblings, James P. Gustafson and his wife Shelley, of Gardner, Dawn M. Bjurling and her partner David Gagne of Fitchburg, Markie A. Gustafson and his partner Stephanie Marranzino of Fitchburg; Her partner, John McCall of Phillipston. Adored nieces and nephews, Ashley and her daughter Maddisyn, Darcy and her son Zayden, Joshua and his partner Julia, Shawn, Kaytlen and her partner Mickey, and Dominick. Aunts, Barbara Boudreau of Leominster, Norma Surovich of Sterling, Karen Hebert and her husband Jeff of Leominster, and Janice Hebert and her husband Scott of Jefferson, Lynda Sasseville of Gilford, NH, Arlene and Butch Foley of Gardner; Vicki Jaarsma and her husband Arthur of Clinton, Judy Gustafson of Auburn; Uncles, Francis Sasseville and his wife, Dee of Florida and Alan Sasseville and his partner Ed, of Las Vegas, N.V., Billy Gustafson, and Stephen Gustafson; Goddaughter, Mariah, and many cousins.

Kristen was predeceased by her four angels, her loving mother, Joanne Sasseville-Gustafson, Norman "Uncle Skip" Sasseville, Ronald "Uncle Ronnie" Sasseville, and aunt, Linda Morgan.

Kristen radiated beauty from her soul and through her smile; Her infectious laugh could be picked out of a crowd. She emanated the most genuine love from her heart of gold, which anyone in her presence could feel.

Kristen loved her family "to the moon and back twice". She jumped at every opportunity to attend cookouts, fires, and any gathering to include loved ones. She especially took pride in being an aunt and shared an irreplaceable bond with each niece and nephew. Her dogs Buster, Kali, and Goose were among the deeply cherished.

Kristen was too vivacious to be taken so soon and will be deeply missed.

A calling hour will be held from 10-11 am with a Prayer Service at 11 am on Thursday, May 26 in the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg. Burial will be in St. Cecilia's Cemetery in Leominster.
