ASHBY - Rita C. (Hebert) Landry, 89 years old, of Ashby, died March 26, 2018, in Leominster Hospital.
Rita was born August 1, 1928, in Fitchburg, MA. The daughter of Alphie and Beatrice (Leger) Hebert. She leaves several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Levi Landry, 5 brothers, Alexander Hebert, Merville Hebert, Andrew Hebert, Joseph Hebert and Albin Hebert, and by her sister Theresa Landry.
LANDRY - Rita's funeral will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018, at 11am, in St. Bernard Parish, at St Camillus de Lellis Church, 333 Mechanic St., Fitchburg. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery Ashby. There are no calling hours.

I WILL MISS HER VERY MUCH. SHE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR MY DAD WHEN HE COULDN'T WORK AFTER HIS ILLNESS. SHE WAS LIKE MY DAD A FIGHTER. I LOVED TALKING TO HER WHEN I CALLED. SHE WAS MY LAST CONNECTION. SHE IS NOW WITH ALL THE FAMILY. I BET THEY'RE KNOW PLAYING PENOCLE AND CRIBBAGE, WITH A COLD DRINK. SHE'LL ALWAYS HAVE A SPECIAL SPOT IN MY HEART. LOL JOSEPH HEBERT
