Robert Nathan Foster
Formerly of Lunenburg, MA; 87

NASHUA, NH -- Robert (Bob) Nathan Foster, age 87, passed away October 23, 2014, from failing health at The Huntington at Nashua, NH.

Bob was born in Fitchburg, MA, and his parents were the late Ralph Sargent and Viola (Haszard) Foster. Bob grew up in Lunenburg, MA and worked for many years in the family business Ralph S. Foster and Sons in Fitchburg in the insurance and real estate appraisal business.

Bob married Constance Louise Stevenson of Westminster, MA and recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary.

Besides his wife, he is survived by their daughter, Marcia L. and her husband, Gerard Keating, and granddaughter, Samantha; their son, Steven R. Foster and his wife Jessie, and their three children, Kathrine, James and Michael, their daughter, Carol A. and her husband, Albert Bukys, and daughter, Allison, and grandchildren, Lisa Faye and her husband, Nathan and their children, Brenna, Ashton and Caden, and grandson, Rayan McGuane and his wife, Samantha and their children, Tyler and Morgan. Their daughter, Brenda L. McGuane predeceased him in 1992.

Also surviving him is his youngest brother, William C. Foster and his wife, Marsha of Westminster, MA.

A memorial service was held at First Church Nashua on October 27. Donations in his memory can be made to the Huntington Scholarship Fund, 55 Kent Lane, Nashua, NH 03062 or to Home Health and Hospice Care, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054 or online at hhhc.org.
