LEOMINSTER -- Sharon A. (Kronick) O'Malley, 66 years old, of Leominster, died Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in her home, after an illness.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Mark H. O'Malley; mother, Eve Greene of Delray, FL; son, Shawn T. O'Malley and his wife, Helene of Leominster; sisters, Elaine Seidl of East Baldwin, ME, and Martha Goodwin of St. Mary's, GA; grandchildren, Maeve O'Malley, Sorcha O'Malley and Bridget O'Malley, all of Leominster.
She was predeceased by her father, Julius Kronick.
Sharon was born July 10, 1949 in Ypsilanti, MI and had lived in Leominster for many years. She graduated from Ayer High School in 1968. She had worked for the Phone Company in Fitchburg and then as an intake manager in the medical field, before retiring in 2000. Sharon and her husband loved to travel to Europe, she enjoyed crafting, craft fairs and bowling. She was a skilled seamstress.
O'MALLEY -- Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 12th from 5-7 pm in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. www.richardsonfuneralhome.net

We are so sorry to hear the passing of your beautiful wife Sharon. Our most sincere thoughts and sympathy to you and your family. Having worked with Eve many years ago I have known Sharon since she was a young girl. I have very fond memories of Sharon. So sorry for your loss.

Sharon was the first person I met on the street when we moved here. I was very pregnant with Andrew and we talked for a long time. She gave me three Iris plants which bloomed the largest this Spring that they ever have. I have always enjoyed talking with both of you. I'm so sorry for your lose; she will be greatly missed.

I felt sadness when I heard about Sharon, but then a memory came back that made me laugh. Waking up in the 8th grade on a Sat. morning. Her propped up next to me in full makeup, perfect hair, asking me what she looked like because she was practicing for marriage!I'm sure she always looked beautiful to you Mark. My condolences to all of you.

So sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. I also lived in Ypsilanti for a few years and wish we'd been able to talk about that. I remember Sharon as a funny, energetic lady and I liked her very much.
