Timothy P. McCauliff of Lunenburg, Air Force vet; 54 LUNENBURG Timothy P. McCauliff, 54, of Lunenburg, died Thursday, September 25, 2008, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 6, 1953, in Fitchburg, the son of Francis W. and Nano A. (Barney) McCauliff. Tim served in the U.S. Air Force. He lived in Odessa, Texas, and worked as a drill specialist in the oilfields of West Texas. He was an avid fan of the Permian High School football team and the Texas Longhorns. Tim was interested in politics and sports. He loved his Harley and was an avid outdoorsman. He had a great sense of humor and a great smile. He had a good heart and was proud of his nieces and nephews, and devoted to his parents. Besides his parents, he leaves his siblings, Francis, III and Marsha McCauliff of Parkhall, MD, Jane and David Murray of Ashburnham, John McCauliff of Odessa, TX, Marylu and Mark Finneron of Ashby, Brian McCauliff of Fitchburg, Nano and Richard Spare of Fitchburg, Joan and James Gillis of Hilton Head, SC, Michael McCauliff of Fitchburg, Peter and Michelle McCauliff of Lunenburg, Margaret and George Wheeler of Groton, Cathleen and John Bonica of Leominster, Matthew McCauliff of Fitchburg, and Richard and L. A. McCauliff of Fitchburg; and many loving nieces, nephews, and good friends. McCAULIFF A funeral service will be held today, Friday, September 26 at 1:30 p.m. in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg. Calling hours are Friday from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in all of Tim's favorite places. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VNA Care Network, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608.
