Passed away on December 2, 2021 at the age of 42 from Covid-19 and complications from Type1 Diabetes. He is survived by his father William D Cocci and his wife Eileen of Sterling, Ma., his sisters Shannon Cocci of Sterling, Adrienne Cocci of Arlington, Va., Tanya Maki of Fitchburg, and his brother Michael Maki of Fitchburg. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him deeply. He was predeceased by his mother Patricia Maki, his stepfather Carl Maki and his grandparents Louis and Patricia Cocci.

Billy grew up in Leominster and graduated from Leominster High School, He often worked as a self employed handy man, particularly enjoying carpentry and landscaping work. In Maine he continued doing his work and also working for Maine Man Flavahs delivering and making sauces. He enjoyed spending a lot of time outdoors especially along the coast and mountains. His favorite hobbies included fishing, hiking, and of course lobstering and spending time with his dog.

A Celebration of Life is planned

For Sunday January 9, 2022 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Happy Jack's Restaurant 785 North Main Street Leominster, Ma.01453.
