Mike:
I can only imagine the heartfelt sense of loss you and your family are experiencing at this time.
Having been a neighbor, school mate, friend, and yes on occasion maybe even a confidant these past 75 years, I share your emptiness. Although we lived a long distance from one another we always stayed in touch. A card at Christmas, a periodic call regarding one of the old neighbors or family members and most memorable the cup of coffee or pint we would share when Chris and I would get back to the Flint area on our annual visit.
We didn’t get back this last year because of COVID but will this fall. Would like to meet up and share some memories of a life long friend. I’ll be in touch.

Carole was my mother, Judy’s best friend neighbor growing up in Flint. Our families were definitely family; Mary Sochor was a surrogate grandma to my sister & me. Carole continued to keep up with us after our dear mom passed. And now the family friends are reunited in heaven. Love forever to you all.

I can still remember her beautiful smile and how she was so full of life. I know she will be truly missed. I loved caring for her because even on a bad day I could get her to laugh or smile. She was not only beautiful on the outside but truly beautiful on the inside. I'm sure she always left an impression with whomever she met because she definitely left one on me. Not only did Carol have a beautiful heart but her family who surrounded her and whom I've met have beautiful hearts as well so I know that she passed in peace. I may have only known her for a few months but that few months felt like years. I believe we grow a close Bond is she always waited for me to come and she would talk to me most of the time I was with her. I will definitively miss her! My thoughts and prayers or with the family as they pass through this difficult time. I'm very sorry I couldn't make the funeral it was too hard for me.

Dear Mike and Family,
I was so saddened to hear of Caroles passing .
My memories of her at SJV and even on Gladwin St. are very precious .
We even played a piano duet together for a piano recital put in by our mutual piano teacher Mrs. Mayer .

Mike and Family- Carole was truly loved in the ski club. Her smile was radiant and she had a great sense of humor. She knew what to say to people and had great stories. It was wonderful to see the two of you together, she talked about you and the family with a lot of love and hope. The grandchildren and children meant the world to her and she often spoke of traveling to visit them and the fun they had together. Everyone who knows her will share in the loss you are all going through. Hoping the wonderful memories of your time together, along with family and friends surrounding you will help see you through the coming days and future.

How lucky I was, to have known, this well accomplished, talented and giving woman.
I first met Carole in Flushing, at The Palmer House, a furniture store. She was a mother, teacher, and worked as an Interior Designer on the weekends. She was always lots of fun to be around, with that unforgettable laugh and flare for fashion, we all admired.
So many fond memories, with this beautiful woman, to remember and cherish♡
Prayers and love to her children and husband, Michael.
My sincere condolences,
