Barbara McLaskey Obituary
Barbara F. McLaskey, 65, of Melbourne, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013.
Barbara is survived by her children, Keith, Carol and Scott, as well as her mother, Lucille, and her sisters Marie, Betsey and Judy. Also left behind are her very adored grandchildren, who were the center of her world - Tiffany, Bryan, Jonathan, Kyle, Sammi and Caitlyn.
She was a very large part of her families lives and will be dearly missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013.

Just realized I did not leave an entry before. Carol, I am thinking of you as you continue to deal with all the emotions of losing your mom. What a touching memorial you had for her; I will always remember how she opened up her home to me, and anyone else who needed it. Like you said, she was really a softy with a tough exterior. We knew better. Rest in peace, Barbara! You were loved immensely, and left a permanent mark with your family and friends.

Worked with Barbara and she was a good co- worker and she will be missed,my prays go out to her family I know you will miss her but the Lord will help you along.She loved her grandkids and will watch over them from heaven.

Wiil miss those long phone calls we had, and the vistits you always made sure you got to see me when you came to Maine I wanted to say Home but your home to you was Florida. Worked many years w/Barbara. We didn't always see I to I. Could could tell when she liked you as she would smile and you knew that was a REAL smile.

Hey old girl I miss you a lot. Our talks everyday. Sometimes more than once a day. I don't know how many times I have picked up the phone then realize you won't be answering it anymore. My little man Christian is waiting for his granny (me) to come home from vacation so we can get calls again from you. He doesn't quite understand yet that the phone service that I have doesn't reach in heaven. He surely loved those evening calls from his auntie Brabra. He truly loved you. You are in our hearts forever. Dennis and I had a nice time visiting you on New Years day. You have been always known as a prankster and I finally got you! I wish you were here so we could do it again. Looks like you pulled the biggest prank of all. We love you Sis you will always be in our heart.
