Carter Caudill Obituary

Carter L. Caudill passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2010. He was born on July 10, 1931 in Kentucky where he lived until joining the Air Force in 1951.
Upon leaving the military, he attended the University of Kentucky, graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He and his family came to Melbourne in 1960 where he was employed by Radiation, now Harris Corporation.
After retirement, he enjoyed traveling by motor home, woodworking, building, and working part time with the Supervisor of Elections in their support center.
Carter was a member of the Melbourne Church of Christ where he served as a Deacon of Finance, Church Treasurer, Chairman of the Finance Committee, and Chairman of the Building Committee.
He is survived by wife, Jean; daughter, Linda (Jeff) Burell; and grandsons, Jonathan Burell and Bryan Norton. He is also survived by one brother and three sisters up north and multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
There will be a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 14 at the Melbourne Church of Christ, 810 Hollywood Blvd., West Melbourne, FL 32904.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to TORCH Missions c/o Melbourne Church of Christ, or to VITAS Innovative Hospice Care, 4450 W. Eau Gallie Blvd., Suite 250, Melbourne 32934.
