I have known Chase since he was just a hot (or cold) flash. From the time he was two, he was the easiest kid I ever saw to get to laugh. We laughed a lot. We went to the movies a lot. We did a lot of things together, but mostly, whatever we did, we had a good time.
Right now, the times aren't so good. I think about Chase every day, and I miss him more than I can say. I know that sooner or later, the day will come when only the memories of the good times (lots of those!!) remain.
When the pains lessens, I will remember my godson with the same laughter that I knew when he was physically with us. I expect I will be laughing a little more then.
A toast then, to the boy he had been, and the man he might have been. May he rest in God's comfort.

Tammy and Greg, I cannot begin to express my sorrow for the loss of your son. No parent should ever have to bury their child, (let alone two, Tammy) but, know that he is in Heaven, no more pain, no more anguish, no more suffering. He is in Heaven with his sister now. He is at peace finally. Amber, I too lost a sibling, so I do understand how you feel. Just know that Chase will always be there to take care of his big sister, even more so now. My prayers and heartfelt sympathy are with all of you. I'm only a phone call away if ya need a hug, to talk, or if ya just wanna yell to vent your anger. I am very proud of the young man Chase was becoming, evidence of proper raising. I am very proud of his want and willingness to serve his country so we can all continue to live with the freedom of choice we desire. May God bless each of you with the peace and comfort to know that Chase now walks among the Angels, for he too is one. I will always miss my Chasey. I love you all, very much!!

Chase...I know how much pride your family and all of us have in you. We are so thankful to have had you in our lives...some a little..some more...but you touched us all.

To all of your family and friends please know I am praying to help you with your grief. God knows the same kind of grief in losing His Son. We lost one last year. Even though it hurts and the hurt will last long...just remember what a wonderful day it will be when we are reunited and we will all live a life and make sure that comes to pass one day. Love to you all.

I haven't talked to Chase much since high school, but he used to always keep me and my brother laughing in Marching Band. Our prayers go out to his family.

Gregg & Tammy,
Words cannot express how deeply Chase will be missed by all who knew and loved him. You are in my thoughts and prayers today and always. I know you will miss Chase, but know in your hearts he is with God. That is little comfort when you want him here with you, but God will hold him until you meet him again someday. With love,
